Hosting a chocolate tasting party can be a fun way to get together with friends and family.
Here’s what to do:
Decide who to invite and send out invitations
Buy some chocolate! Limit yourself to 8-10 different chocolate varieties at the most as any more than this might run the risk of your party guests feeling a little over indulged by the end of the evening (yes, you can have too much of a good thing!). Allow roughly 2 small squares of each chocolate per person.
At the party: follow and share our chocolate tasting tips with your guests. You might like to fill in a scoring sheet and note down what the chocolate tastes like to you. Think about what it reminds you of, what the texture is like, the different flavours you experience and award each chocolate a score out of 10.
Once you’ve tasted all the different chocolates have fun sharing and contrasting what each of you has written about them.
Add up all the final scores and find out if there is a clear winner!!
