Why is Cadbury supporting the British Olympic Appeal?
Cadbury has a long history of encouraging sport amongst both its own employees and the public. We were one of the principal sponsors of the Manchester Commonwealth Games in 2002.
This time, we have linked with the British Olympic Association's Appeal to help support our athletes at this summer's Beijing Olympics. An Appeal Council has been created - chaired by Sir Roy Gardner with Olympic gold medal rower Sir Matthew Pinsent as vice-chairman - to help raise the money needed to fund our athletes (Team GB) in China. Cadbury is delighted to join the list of UK donors to help support the British team appeal.
