Flip Triangle

An unusual idea, easily made but do make sure the wafers are absolutely fresh!  Recipe makes 16.

Ingredients

200g Cadbury Bournville chocolate
150g (5oz) margarine
24-26 very fresh ice cream wafers
A small can of condensed milk
125g (4oz) caster sugar
40ml (2 Tbs) golden syrup
15ml (3 tsps) smooth peanut butter

Also, you will require

An 18 x 28cm (7 x 11 inches) swiss roll tin, strip lined with foil

Melt the chocolate with 250g (1oz) of the margarine then spread half over the foil. Press on 12 wafers, trimming to fit.

Stir the remaining margarine, condensed milk, sugar and syrup in a pan over gentle heat until completely dissolved then boil for 3 minutes, still stirring. Off heat, beat in peanut butter until smooth then spread mixture evenly in the tin. Place wafers on top. Spread with remaining chocolate and set. Later, cut into 8 squares then into triangles.
